Stuff the Bus will help Centreville Food Pantry

Centreville Public Schools invites the public to take part in this weekend’s “Stuff the Bus” event.

From 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday outside Yoder’s Market, a Centreville school bus will be parked. Sponsored by the school’s Future Farmers of America organization, Stuff the Bus is an opportunity to help local families less fortunate this holiday season.

Event organizers said ideal donations include boxed foods such as rice, and macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables and fruit, pasta and pasta sauce, peanut butter and jelly, dry dog and cat food, laundry detergent and dish soap, and personal-care items such as toothpaste, soap and shampoo.

All donations will be turned over to the Centreville Food Pantry.
