Centreville Public Schools invites its parents, grandparents and guardians to its second annual “Community Conversation.”
The event starts at 6 p.m. March 24 at Centreville High School. Superintendent Chad Brady said participants are encouraged to join up to three presentations centering on topics relevant to today’s world of education.
Topics are: “Parenting in a Social Media Era,” “How Cell Phones Affect Schools,” “The ABCs of Standards-Based Grading,” “Supporting a Healthy Mindset,” “Special Education: Tips for School and Home,” “School Safety and Security,” “Understanding Generative Artificial Intelligence,” “Athletics After High School,” “From High School to College: What Parents Need to Know” and “Vaping: What are the Risks?”
