Two out-of-state men died in a crash over the weekend in White Pigeon Township.
Sheriff Chad Spence said deputies were dispatched Saturday to the intersection of Eagley Road and Lake Road in the southwest corner of the township.
Investigators said a car driven by a 68-year-old man from Riverside, Ill., was traveling west on Lake Road before attempting to turn left onto Eagley Road. The vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle on Eagley Road. It was driven by a 37-year-old White Pigeon woman.
The 68-year-old man and a passenger, a 75-year-old man from Orland Park, Ill., both died at the scene.
The White Pigeon woman was transported to Three Rivers Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said speed is believed to have been a contributing factor.
