Margaret Alice Milliman was born on August 11, 1939 in Bronson. She passed away on June 12, 2026 in Burr Oak at the age of 86. Margaret was the daughter of R. Howard and Katherine May (Bunnell) Milliman. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Milliman.
Margaret graduated from Burr Oak High School with the class of 1957. She went on to work at Doerr Productions in Burr Oak for 22 years. After that, she spent 31 years working at Maxitrol in Colon before retiring in 2013.
She enjoyed many hobbies and interests throughout her life. Margaret loved mushroom hunting up north and spending time at her cabin. She also liked going to the casino, shopping, playing cards, and getting together with family.
Margaret is remembered fondly by several cousins and friends who survive her.
Services to honor Margaret’s life will be held at Schipper Funeral Home Ltd, located at 308 S Blackstone Ave, Colon, Michigan 49040. Visitation took place on June 16, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00. The funeral service followed on the same day at 2:00. After the funeral, interment was held at Burr Oak Township Cemetery, 455 Highland Ave, Burr Oak, Michigan. Services were officiated by pastor Terry Siler. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be directed to the Colon American Legion Post #454. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Margaret Alice Milliman will be deeply missed by those who knew her and cherished her company.
