Mendon High School softball is one of eight teams remaining in Division 4 in the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s 2026 playoffs.
The Hornets put their 20-1 record on the line today against 20-12 Monroe County-based Summerfield High School.
The teams square off at 2 o’clock today at Bailey Park in Battle Creek.
The winner plays Friday afternoon against the victor of today’s contest between Norway High School and Hillman High School.
Meanwhile, in Division 3, Bronson High School plays Ravenna High School at 1 o’clock today in Kalamazoo. Bronson is 12-5 this season while Ravenna is 37-1.
