Sturgis Public Schools will find out today whether Superintendent Art Ebert is a finalist for a position in Macomb County.
Ebert is one of six finalists for the superintendent’s job at Romeo Community Schools.
Interviews started with two candidates Tuesday. Ebert was the second of two candidates interviewed Wednesday. The final pair of candidates were interviewed Thursday.
Officials from the 5,800-student district indicated they were expected to make a decision on finalists during a special board meeting today.
Finalists will return for a follow-up interview Tuesday next week.
Ebert has overseen St. Joseph County’s largest school district since the 2018-19 academic year.
