CTA rebrands Circle Line

St. Joseph County Transportation Authority is rebranding its Circle Line and, in the process, honoring the memory of a beloved member of its team.

The Three Rivers-based agency will roll out its “B-Line” on July 21. The route is currently known as the Three Rivers Circle Line.

CTA Director Marci Goodman said the name change rebrands Three Rivers Circle Line into a more modern and quicker reference. In addition, it pays respect to a longtime employee who passed unexpectedly nearly a year ago.

The driver, Beatrice Taylor, was known by most as “Bea.” B-Line fell into place while SJCTA was working on both expanding and rebranding the Three Rivers Circle Line, Goodman said. The revamped route will reinstate Riverside Apartments as a regular stop, which was also Taylor’s former residence.

Circle Line fare is $1.50. In 2025, the Three Rivers Circle Line provided 9,598 rides, Goodman noted.
