A new Director of Public Safety has been tabbed for the City of Coldwater.
It’s a familiar face as Deputy Chief of Police Patrick Beeman will take over the post. The city announced the move recently. Beeman has better than 30 years of service with the Coldwater Police Department, having served in patrol, investigative, supervisory and command positions.
Beeman has been a patrol officer, sergeant, detective sergeant and Deputy Chief. He has also served as the department’s Accreditation Manager, helping build a policy manual and continued to guide policy development.
