Gary Price, 76

Gary W. Price, born on March 3, 1950, in Hickory Plains, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in Constantine at the age of 76, leaving behind a life marked by love, humor, hard work, and devotion to family.

Gary lived his life with a steady spirit and a warm heart, and those who knew him will remember him for the kindness he shared so freely and the laughter he brought into everyday moments.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Price; his daughter, Angela (Sherry) Bole of Mishawaka; his son, Jeremy Price of Emporia, Kansas; his grandson, Tucker Price and his fiancée, Payton Funderburk, of Sturgis; his great-grandson, Dean Funderburk; and his great-granddaughter, Mary Jane Price. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and he took great pride in his family and the lives they built.

Gary was known not only for his dedication to those he loved, but also for his sense of humor and his memorable sayings. His best quotes, “Are we having fun yet?” and “It’s getting better!!,” reflected the lighthearted outlook he often brought to life’s moments. His words were simple, but they carried the spirit of a man who knew how to find joy, keep perspective, and encourage others to do the same.

Whether spending time with family, sharing a story, or offering a well-timed remark, he had a way of making people feel welcome and appreciated.

Gary’s passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his loved ones, but his legacy of love, strength, and good humor will live on. Though he is no longer present in body, his spirit will remain close in the memories, stories, and traditions of those who loved him.
