Kimberly Hardy, 62

Kimberly Ann Hardy, age 62, of Three Rivers, passed away on August 8, 2026 at Bronson Methodist Hospital.

She was born March 11, 1964 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Thomas G. and Janice I. (Mahoney) Hardy. Growing up in Hickory Corners, she was an accomplished equestrian and cheerleader at Gull Lake High School, from which she graduated in 1982.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Central Michigan University and worked in industrial accounting for multiple businesses around Michigan.

Kim was married to Larry Wilholt in 1992, and had one daughter, Kendra Wilholt. Kim and Kendra were an inseparable, dynamic duo. As Kendra moved for school and work, Kim was always enthusiastic about visiting her to explore and adventure together.

For the past 10 years, Kim enjoyed the companionship of Warren Johncock, whose family welcomed her with open arms and loving hearts. Kim, who had an affinity for classic cars, met Warren at a car show, and the rest was history. The two enjoyed traveling and tending the yard, and built a beautiful life together.

Kim loved gardening and plants, had an abundance of bird feeders around the house, and had a love for all living things. Always ready with a smile and a listening ear, she should be remembered for her compassion and kindness.

Remaining to cherish her memory are her mother, Janice Hardy; significant other, Warren Johncock; daughter, Kendra Wilholt and her father, Larry Wilholt; brother, John Hardy; niece, Avery Hardy; Warren’s daughters, Katharynne Nusbaum and Alexis Johncock; and Warren’s son, Andrew Johncock.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Hardy, and by Warren’s son, Jacob Johncock.

In accordance with family wishes, cremation will be conducted, and a celebration of Kim’s life will be held at a later date.
