A 25-year-old Coldwater man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night.
Patrick Beeman, Coldwater Deputy Police Chief, said the accident happened on South Clay Street near Darling Drive around 11:30 p.m. The man was walking in the northbound lane of Clay when he was struck by a vehicle being driven by a 41-year-old Coldwater woman.
The man was transported to Insight Hospital in Coldwater where he later died.
The crash remains an active investigation. Police are working to confirm the identity of the pedestrian before further details are made available.
