Terry Storey, 52

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Wayne Storey, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the age of 52.

Terry was born on July 1, 1974 in Griffin, Georgia, and was a proud 1994 graduate of Griffin High School. He went on to establish a fulfilling and successful career in Hospitality Management, where his warmth, dedication, and genuine care for others touched the lives of many.

Terry was preceded in death by his beloved life partner, Bruce Trevino of Three Rivers,; his parents, Patty (Smith) Storey and Kenneth Wilson Storey of Griffin, Georgia; as well as his nephews, Austin Melvin and Justin Melvin.

He is survived by his loving sister, Candice (Storey) Melvin and her significant other, Tony Jones; his cherished nieces, Kendall and McKenna; and a large extended family and circle of close friends who will remember him fondly and miss him dearly.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00pm, at Ray Funeral Services, 305 Rock River Ave, Three Rivers, MI 49093, at which time family and friends will gather to honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived.

Donations in Terry’s memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
