An ATV crash in Branch County resulted in the death of a 26-year-old Union City woman.
The Michigan State Police said the ATV was westbound on Sullivan Road Friday night headed toward Braucker Road in Union Township. While attempting to pass another vehicle, the woman on the ATV lost control and left the road, striking a tree.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene despite attempted life-saving measures.
Toopers said the woman was not wearing a helmet. The crash remains under investigation.
