White Pigeon Community Schools superintendent Shelly McBride posted an updated response to the failed sinking fund renewal on Wednesday.
In the social media post, McBride said while the “Chief” community is disappointed with how the vote turned out, the plan moving forward is to focus on the November election. WPCS plans to educate the community about the sinking fund and highlight what their support has allowed the school district to accomplish.
McBride said the school is proud of the progress currently happening in the district and grateful for the support.
