Sarah Scoggin has officially accepted the role as Cass County Prosecutor. She has been at the post on an interim basis for four months, dating back to May 28 following the resignation of Victor Fitz. Scoggin was officially sworn in as the county’s prosecutor on Monday afternoon.
The ceremony took place at the Cass County Law & Courts Building located in Cassopolis.
During her time as the prosecutor for the county, Scoggin hired a pair of new assistants and has made several other staffing decisions, which have had a positive impact.
