The Indiana State Police Cold Case Team is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect from a 2015 shooting. ISP said they shared information with media partners in Michigan because they believe the suspect may have ties to the Sturgis area.
The incident occurred back on Aug. 21, 2015. Rocky Swihart was at his residence on E 350 S near Stroh, Indiana, when a vehicle pulled into his driveway and a male suspect exited the vehicle to speak with Swihart.
As Swihart turned to head back into his residence, the suspect shot him in the head. Swihart was able to survive the attack.
But the ISP Cold Case Team is still looking for information on identifying the suspect.
Tips may be submitted to the ISP Cold Case Team at 1-800-453-4756.
