Sturgis attorney announces candidacy for district court judge

Tim George is making a bid for the 3B District Court spot.

George, a Sturgis-based attorney, announced his candidacy for the non-partisan race for the 3B District Court judge spot. Judge Jeffrey C. Middleton is retiring. The court’s jurisdiction includes all of the communities in St. Joseph County.

George is a graduate of Wayne State University and earned his Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University’s Cooley School of Law. He lives in Three Rivers with his wife Mary and their three children.
