The Village of Constantine has announced a final update on their water main break which happened earlier this week. They announced positive news Wednesday on the boil water advisory being lifted for its residents.
The required water testing had been completed by Wednesday afternoon.
Both businesses and residents were advised to omit the water boil advisory.
Monday, the water main break resulted in a village-wide system shutdown while repairs were being completed. Once water service was repaired, the boil effect stayed in effect for a couple of days.
Officials said with the testing complete and positive results, Constantine’s water is now safe again for people.
