An accessible playground in Centreville opened earlier this week.
The St. Joseph County ISD held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Pathfinder Center with an all-new playground. Students, teachers and ISD personnel were all on location for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The price tag for the playground was $275,000. It was developed by the GameTime company and features slides, a rope bridge, a swivel chair, a braille wall, a xylophone structure which plays sounds and even a climbing wall.
The playground also features a wheelchair-accessible merry-go-round.
