Anita Louise Martin, age 66, of Sturgis, passed away Sunday morning, June 23, 2024 at her home.
She was born February 13, 1958, in Drobak, Norway. She came to America in 1963 and became an American Citizen in 2015.
She is survived by her mother and father: Tove and Duane Hanes of Kendallville; sons: Matthew (Courtney) Martin of Sturgis and Nicholas Gunthorpe of LaGrange; daughter: Bailey (John) Martin-Harman of Pittsburgh; granddaughters: MacKenzie and Hayley of Pennsylvania; grandson: Grady of Sturgis and brother: Mike Gerow of Texas.
Anita was an amazing person and touched many lives.
In accordance with Anita’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 to 7:00, Saturday, July 13th at the Eagles Lodge #1314, 1207 W. Chicago Rd. in Sturgis.
