Landon Michael Monty, son of Michael and Maryann (Goodwin) Monty of White Pigeon, Michigan was stillborn Monday, March 2, 2009, at Sturgis Hospital.
Landon is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Ray and Cyndi Monty of Sturgis, Robert Goodwin of Lima, Ohio, and Wilma and Ed Bellamy of Lima, Ohio; great-grandparents, Stella Pacheco of Colorado and Irene Eaton of Sturgis; aunts and uncles, Shawna and Justin Deeds of Centreville, Tim and Celeste Monty of Fox Lake, Ill. and Melissa Goodwin of Lima, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes – Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa Street, Sturgis. Cremation will follow the visitation.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church in Burr Oak. The Rev. Donald Graham will officiate.
A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow the service at the church.
