Debrah K. Champion, age 48, of Sturgis, Mich., passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at the Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
She was born Aug. 19, 1960, in Coldwater, and had resided in Sturgis most of life. She enjoyed being outdoors and being cold.
Surviving are her mother, Joyce Ryan of Burr Oak; father, Larry Champion of Coldwater; three sisters, Kim (Charlie) Guire of Burr Oak, Lisa (Randy) Haney of Burr Oak, and Dawn (David) Daniels of Hastings; two stepsisters, Lisa and Amy Coburn; one stepbrother, Jeff Coburn; and many of her extended family and friends at the Gemini House in Sturgis..
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. Monday at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes, Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Road in Sturgis.
Funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Carr of Gateway River of Life Church officiating. Interment will follow in Burr Oak Cemetery.
