Mrs. Dorothy Conklin, age 80, of Three Rivers, passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at her home suddenly. She was born on October 20, 1928 in Flowerfield Township the daughter of Stanley and Salome Marusek.
Dorothy has been a life long resident of this area. She was a religious, faithful and active member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and she dearly loved her friends and family. She enjoyed playing bridge with many friends.
Mrs. Conklin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer Conklin, who passed on July 17, 1999, and nine siblings.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving sons, Michael Conklin, of Three Rivers, David (Cheryl) Conklin, of Ponte Verde Beach, FL., his children, Carolyn and Sara Conklin and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Per Dorothy’s request cremation has taken place.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Mark Vyverman as celebrant.
Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery.
