Jane Stocking, 74

Jane Louise Stocking, 74, of Centreville and formerly of Three Rivers, died Friday, May 1, 2009 at Three Rivers Health. She was born in Three Rivers on June 18, 1934 the daughter of George and Winifred (Keigley) Stocking, and was a graduate of Three Rivers High School. She resided with her mother on Maple Street in Three Rivers until Winifred’s death in 1993. Jane has resided at Argosy House in Centreville for the past nine’ years.

Jane was employed at ARCH Workshop. She loved to read and study the Bible. She enjoyed going to movies and dinning out. She was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Three Rivers.

Jane is survived by her church family at Calvary Baptist Church; her longtime friend, Gary; and residents of Argosy House in Centreville. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, May 4 at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers with Rev. Kyle Foster, Pastor of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Friends and neighbors are invited to gather one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials will be directed to the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
