Marian J. Kimble, age 80, of Three Rivers, passed away early Friday morning May 22, 2009 at Riverview Manor following a lengthy illness. She was born on August 14, 1928 in Three Rivers, MI. the daughter of Thomas and Herma Freese.
Mrs. Kimble has been a life long resident of this area. She enjoyed doing crafts, needle-point, was an excellent cook and truly loved raising her children, and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.
Mrs. Kimble was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles L. Kimble II, two sisters and one great-granddaughter.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Karen Johnson, of Constantine, Charles L. (Jackie) Kimble III, of Mendon, Theresa Kiefer, of Three Rivers, David (Nina) Kimble-Freese, of Three Rivers, Jo Ellen (James) Kelley, of Three Rivers, Frances (David) Hackenberg, Three Rivers, and Jack (Shannon) Kimble, of Three Rivers, twenty two grandchildren, thirty four great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 25, 2009 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor John T. McClimans officiating.
Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
