Mary Lou Millett, 86, of Sturgis, Mich., passed away May 12, 2009, at Drew’s Place of Coldwater in Coldwater, Mich.
In accordance with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating the life of Mary Lou Millett will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at the First United Methodist Church in Sturgis. The Rev. Deb Johnson will officiate. Mrs. Millett’s ashes will be taken to one of her favorite places on earth, Bequia, St. Vincent the Grenadines.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes Hackman Chapel, 114 S. Nottawa St., Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be directed to the First United Methodist Church, 200 Pleasant Ave., Sturgis, MI 49091, Drew’s Place, 289 E. Perkins St., Coldwater, MI 49036 or the Hospice organization of one’s choice. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
