Lillian Marinthia Rinehart, age 88, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Cass County Medical Facility.
She was born on Oct. 15, 1920, the daughter of Samuel D. and Lillian (Reynolds) Mitterling.
Lillian truly loved to work with her hands crocheting, making doilies and quilts for her family.
She was employed as a secretary for the Chapel Hill Missionary Church for more than 20 years and was loved and adored by her family and friends.
Mrs. Rinehart was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles W. Rinehart; one daughter, Lillian Dora Ramsey; and two sisters, Helen and Bertha.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Marvin James (Linda) Rinehart, Henry Dean (Joyce) Rinehart, and Charles Wilbur (Korinna) Rinehart, of Willamina, Ore.; 11 grandchildren, Sean, Shannon, Edward, Christopher, Daniel, Lisa, Rachel, Brandon, Audrey, Marsena and James; one son-in-law, George Ramsey; and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Friday at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Rev. Ken Bontreger officiating.
Interment was at Bethel Cemetery, Union, Mich.
Memorials may be donated to Cass County Medical Facility.
