Laura Ann (nee: Bippus) Lane, age 45, of Portage, formerly of Three Rivers, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at her home. She was born on Oct. 30, 1963 in Ft. Wayne, IN. the daughter of James and Vera (Mohre) Bippus.
Laura graduated from Three Rivers High School in the class of 1981. She later attended Beauty School in Kalamazoo, where she worked for several years as a beautician at Mastercuts and also as a nanny for several years. Laura truly loved her family and enjoyed playing tennis in her early years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family, parents, James and Vera Bippus; three sisters, Annette, and Karen Bippus, both of Three Rivers, and Maria (Steve) Scott, of Ft. Dodge, Iowa; two brothers, John Bippus and Joe (Cheryl) Bippus, both of Three Rivers; five nephews and nieces, James (Mindy) Bippus, and their son, Logan James, Gabriel Fuller, Autumn, April, and Evan Bippus.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16th, 2009 at the Hohner Funeral Home.
A memorial mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. Donald Potts as celebrant.
Interment will be held in Moorepark Cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the Immaculate Conception School Trust Fund or the Three Rivers Lions Club. Envelopes available at the funeral home.
