Maxine Leona Camp, age 88, of Three Rivers, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Heartland Health Care Center in Three Rivers. She was born in Three Rivers, MI on August 3, 1921 the daughter of Harry T. and Echo E. (Warren) Hartman. Maxine graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1940. She was married to Rolland Thomas Camp on October 16, 1965 in Ypsilanti, MI. She worked as a Postal clerk in Ypsilanti retiring in 1968. She enjoyed gardening and flowers. After she and Rolland married they moved to Constantine where they lived for 26 years before moving to Three Rivers where they lived for the past 5 years.
Maxine is survived by her husband; Rolland, 3 sisters; Wilda (Albert) Centka of Jackson, MI; Jane Hartman and Norma Hartman both of Three Rivers; 2 sister-in-laws; Mary Lou Webster of Ypsilanti and Audrey Hartman of Constantine and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother; Harold H. Hartman and a nephew Thomas H. Hartman.
As per her wishes cremation has been conducted, with private graveside service in Riverside Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel, Three Rivers, MI. Memorials may be directed to Three Rivers Health Hospital or to Heartland Health Care.
