Donnie Ray Jackson, age 59, of Springfield, MI, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2009 at Bronson Hospital. He was born in Fulton Co., Arkansas on January 16, 1950 the son of Vester and Marion (Thompson) Jackson. He worked in construction for Upjohn. He enjoyed writing poems, reading, arts and crafts and nature. What Donnie loved most was “Charlie-dog” as he called him, man’s best friend.
Donnie is survived by his dog; Charlie; his mother Marion; 5 brothers; Rick (Carol) Jackson; Tony Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Roger Jackson and Ronnie (Janice) Jackson; 6 sisters; Jean Armstrong; Bonnie (Mark) Jones; Sandy (Alan) Stroud; Jenice (Richard) Fitzgerald; Brenda (Thomas) Baumeister and Tammy (Lionel) Saurez and brother in law Carl Randall. Donnie was preceded in death by his father, sister, Anna Randall and brother in law Bob Armstrong.
