Rosemary Juday, 86

Rosemary Juday, 86, of Elkhart, Ind., and formerly of White Pigeon, died Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at Elkhart General Hospital, after an extended illness.

She was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Goshen, Ind., a daughter of Walter and Edith (Kneopper) Grover.

She lived most of her life in northern Indiana and southern Michigan.

She married Marion L. Judy. He preceded her in death on July 29, 2004.

She was a homemaker and factory worker during World War II.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crossword puzzles.

Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Juday of Elkhart; four sons, Ben and Bill Juday of Elkhart, Dan Juday of Florida, and Ron Juday of White Pigeon; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; three brothers, Charles Grover of Florida, Jack Grover of Arizona, and John Grover of Elkhart; a several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Ed Chapman; and three brothers, Walter, Pete and Arlie Grover.

There will be no visitation; cremation has taken place.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Farrand Funeral Home in White Pigeon, with Pastor Bud Granger of Fairhaven Church, Constantine.
