Thelma Graham, 91

Thelma Josephine Graham, 91, of Three Rivers, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009 following a short illness. She was born on Nov. 25, 1917 in LaPorte, Ind. the daughter of Frank and Cornelia (Allen) Oosterveer.

Mrs. Graham has been a long time resident of this area. She taught elementary education in the Niles school system for over 35 years before retiring. She and her husband Douglas, whom she married on June 30, 1943, moved to Three Rivers upon her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family, husband, Douglas of Three Rivers; two daughters, Marcia (Ronald) Smith of Wabash, Ind. and Mary (Larry) Burr of Vicksburg; two sons, Neil (Linda) Graham of Mesa, Ariz. and Perry (Patricia) Graham of Niles; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Dr. Dan Gelatt officiating.
