Virginia Ann Beard, beloved wife and mother, 73, of Three Rivers (formerly of Wyoming, Mich.), passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009 at Riverview Manor Nursing Home, following a short illness. She was born on Feb. 14, 1936 in Grand Rapids the daughter of John and Anna (Labiotka) Rusilowski. Virginia was predeceased by her parents and son-in-law, Ernest Atwater.
In 1984 she married Samuel Beard in Three Rivers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving family, husband, Samuel Beard of Three Rivers; son, John Fayette of Sturgis; daughters, Margaret “Margie” (Roy) VanLiere and Anita Atwater of Wyoming, Mich., Ann (Richard) Allen of Three Rivers and Katherine Fayette of Sturgis; three brothers, John, Jerry and Richard Rusilowski, all of Grand Rapids; one sister, Barbara Mroz of New Mexico; 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be made to her surviving husband Samuel Beard.
Per her request cremation has taken place.
A wake is pending.
Interment will be held in Mount Everest Cemetery.
