Beverly June Meyers, age 62, of Sherwood, passed away, Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010, at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo after an extended illness.
Beverly was born Sept. 20, 1947, in Battle Creek a daughter of the late Warren and June Portner.
Beverly had lived most of her life in the Sherwood and Athens area. She graduated from Lakeview High School in Battle Creek.
Beverly had worked as a school bus driver for more than 15 years for the Colon Community Schools.
She loved all her animals and enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by two sons, Timothy Miller of Oklahoma City and Kevin Miller of Tennessee; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brooke, Corey and Alexandria; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnie and Barb; and life partner Leo Lux of Athens.
There will be no visitations. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
If desired, the family suggest memorials be make in memory of Beverly to the charity of one’s choice.
Arrangements were made by Schipper Funeral Home in Colon.
