Douglas B. Cane, age 57, of Three Rivers, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 2, 2010, at his home.
Douglas was born Dec. 24, 1952, in Calumet, the son of Douglas M. and Betty H. (Jordan) Cane. He was formerly employed in the trucking business. He was a member of the Three Rivers Eagles Aerie No. 2303.
Surviving are his significant other, Val Timm of Three Rivers; two daughters, Candis M. (Nathan Neel) Penn of Colon and DeAnna M. Cane of Three Rivers; a son, Douglas B. (April) Penn Jr. of Elkhart, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Rachel M. Marcotte of Detroit and Holly M. Morgan of Sturgis; 10 grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Linda (Hubert) LeTourneau of Laurium; a half-sister, Diane (Steve) Teddy of Laurium; and a half-brother, Steven (Judy) Wickstrom of Lake Linden.
Preceding him in death was a sister, Donna Harju.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the fellowship hall of Corey Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Gary Carr officiating. Arrangements were handled by the Mater Funeral Home, Marcellus.
