Larry Tilbury, 57

Larry K. Tilbury, age 57 of Constantine, passed away Monday, December 28th, 2009 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Three Rivers, on September 14, 1952, a son of Kent and Sue Ann (Barnhardt) Tilbury Sr. Larry graduated from Constantine High School in 1969 and served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Larry worked in shipping at Amerikart Molding, Bristol, IN for 3 years and previously at Three Rivers Anodizing Inc. for 15 years. Larry was an avid golfer and animal lover. He raised German shepherds and was always rescuing animals that needed help. He was a former member of the American Legion in Three Rivers.
Surviving are his mother Sue Tilbury, Constantine, brothers Michael (Lucy) Tilbury, Three Rivers, Kent “Buddy” (Monica) Tilbury Jr. of Constantine, Uncle Rick (Ursula) Barnhardt, Constantine, nieces Heather Cornwell and Angela Vrydaghs, nephews Michael (Toni) Tilbury, Eric Hagenbuch, Peter Hagenbuch, Brandon and Mason Tilbury and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, sister Sally Jo Hagenbuch, and special friend Vicki Burgess.
Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends will be received Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Constantine, where Memorial Services will follow at 2:30 pm. Pastor Marilyn Schlimgen will officiate. Interment of cremains will be at the Constantine Cemetery.
