Arlene Weston, age 84, of Constantine, passed away Thursday, February 4th, 2010 at the Three Rivers Health Hospital. She was born in Constantine, on May 22, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Mary Alice (Tolbert) Burgwald. Arlene graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1943. On November 18, 1952 she married Cecil Weston in Three Rivers. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1995.
Arlene worked at Montgomery Ward in Three Rivers and as secretary for Harmon Dudd at the Credit Bureau in Three Rivers. She also loved taking care of her home, family and her cats. She enjoyed working crosswords, fill-ins and jigsaw puzzles. Arlene was a former member of Messiah Lutheran Church and most recently attended Constantine United Methodist Church.
Surviving Arlene are her daughters Mary Sue Weston, Shirley (Richard) Metzger, and son Ronald (Barbara) Weston , all of Constantine. Also surviving are her grandchildren Amy Davidhizar, Chuck (Tiffany) Davidhizar, Justin (Anne) Davidhizar, Chris Metzger, Joe (Christy) Metzger, Mike (Megan) Metzger, Elizabeth (Fred) Stears, Tony Weston, and 6 great grandchildren Addison, Paige, Ben, Ryan, Evan & Freddie.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Eley Funeral Home in Constantine Sunday from 2-5 pm, where Religious Services will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Shavehead Cemetery in Porter Township.
