Guna Osmonda Veiss, age 86, of Three Rivers, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at Heartland Health Care Center. She was born on August 29, 1923 in Madona, Latvia.
Guna has been a long time member of the Latvian Community in Three Rivers and also attended the Kalamazoo Latvian Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughters, Ingrid (Richard) Owen, of Battle Creek, and Inara Pierce, of Plainwell, MI.; one son, Arthur Strauss, of Texas; five grandchildren, Alan Holt, Tanya Milostan, Tammy (Jeff) Landers, Todd (Kim) Raab, and Jon (Kris) Pierce; eight great-grandchildren; and one half-sister, Renate Silins, of Latvia.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Garazer’s Latvian Camp.
