Maxwell Dane Fuelling, 2, of Kalamazoo, went to be with God on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, following a tragic accident.
He was born on July 21, 2007 in Kalamazoo, the son of David and Jennifer (Barnhardt) Fuelling. Max was a vibrant child with a beautiful smile. He truly loved his pet dogs, Lexi and Yukon. He enjoyed watching Thomas the Train, Wonderpets, and Blues Clues. He was fascinated with “Daddy’s Boat” and riding the golf cart. Max also attended Appletree Christian Learning Center in Otsego, where he was loved by many friends and teachers. He is now enjoying peace in heaven, where we will see him again.
Max leaves to cherish his memory his loving family, parents, David and Jennifer Fuelling of Kalamazoo; grandparents, William (Sandy) Barnhardt of Three Rivers and Dane (Kristen) Fuelling of Marshall; two aunts, Elizabeth (Jeff Satterlee) Ware of Three Rivers and Jessi (Nate) Brown of Richmond, Mich.; great-grandmothers, Kay Fuelling and Opal Brown, both of Three Rivers; great-grandfather, James Mitchell of Saginaw; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in passing by his great-grandparents, Barbara Mitchell, Dale Fuelling, Lloyd (Myrtie) Barnhardt, Margaret Fuelling and Richard Brown.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Otsego United Methodist Church, 223 E. Allegan St. (M-89), Otsego. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 8 at the church with Pastor Joe Schaler officiating. Memorials may be donated to the Kalamazoo County Humane Society, or the Otsego United Methodist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
