Robert A. “Bob” Recher, 85, of Mason and formerly of Three Rivers, passed away March 12, 2010. Bob was born March 1, 1925 the son of John M. and Mildred Recher. He was married in June of 1946 to Eunice Dowden, who survives along with five children and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers, John Recher of Seattle, Wash. and David Recher of Three Rivers.
He was a man of strong Christian faith and lived his life that way. While serving as administrator of Three Rivers Hospital, he was instrumental in establishing the Three Rivers Area Hospital Authority. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific Theater during World War II.
Services were held Friday, March 19 at All Saints Lutheran Church in Mason. Memorials may be made to the church at 720 W. South St., Mason, MI 48854.
