Gordon John Fisher, age 67, of Constantine, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Elkhart, IN. on April 9, 1942 the son of John S. and Mary E. (Fischer) Fisher.
John has been a long time resident of this area. He was employed for several years at the J.C. Penny’s store and also Rieshes Shoe Store in downtown Three Rivers. He was employed at Jackson Big Ten Tire and then several tire companies thereafter, where John worked in sales.
John has been a life member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witness where he served as an elder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Georgette Fisher.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Kathleen Fisher, of Constantine, MI.; one daughter, Julianna (Jose) Alvarado, and their children, Brianna and Megan Alvarado; of Kalamazoo, MI.; three sisters, Marsha (Garland) Mayo, of Winchester, KY., Jerry (Brian) Turner, of Severville, TN., and Nancy (Jeff) Ball, of Dowagiac, MI.; five brothers, Sam (Janice), Ross (Jane), both of Granger, IN., Jay (Linda), of Las Vegas, NV., Joel (Cindy) and Greg (Tonya) Fisher, both of Jones, MI.; many nieces and nephews.
Time of fellowship begins at 12:30 until time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Three Rivers Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, with elder Roger Andrews officiating.
Memorials may be donated to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witness.
