Joyce Young, 75

Joyce Arlene Young, age 75, of Three Rivers passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 5, 1934 in Three Rivers, MI. the daughter of Frank and Hazel (Youngs) Hull.

Joyce has been a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. She was employed for over twenty years at the D&W Supermarket, both in the Family Pharmacy and as a cashier. Joyce was completely dedicated to her family. She loved her grandchildren and hosting Sunday dinners. She was a former auxiliary member of the Three Rivers Eagles #2303.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of over fifty five years, Mr. Richard C. Young whom passed in January of this year.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Patricia (John) Weatherwax, Judy (Jeff) Miller, Dennis (Kathy) Young, all of Three Rivers; grandchildren, Katrina (Scott) Norman, Miranda (Todd) Sylvester, Nicole Young, Meghan (John) Negus, Joshua German, Steven Higgins, Richard (Shannon) Matthews, William and James Mathews. Several great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating of the Three Rivers Church of the Nazarene.

Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery.
