William C. Duncan, 69, of Three Rivers, passed away Friday, April 2, 2010, after a battle with failing health. He was born Dec. 17, 1940, the son of David and Floyd (Duncan) Duncan. He moved to Three Rivers in 1971. William enjoyed hunting, gardening and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons and two brothers.
William is survived by his loving family, wife, Annie B. (Little) Duncan; one son, Terry (Trenita) Duncan of Northport, Ala.; two daughters, Shelia (Duncan) Patrick of Austell, Ga. and Patricia Duncan of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; one step-daughter, Crystal (Fred) Burtons of Three Rivers; two brothers, Ronnie (Sharon) Duncan of Three Rivers and McArthur Duncan of Lawrenceville, Va.; three sisters, Pearlie Matthews of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Velma Clay of Tuscaloosa, Ala. and Betty Wells of Greenville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at the Grant Chapel AME Church with Rev. Leonard Marcilous officiating.
Interment of cremains will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
