Betty Jean Lester, age 79, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Three Rivers Health. She was born on July 27, 1930 in Elkhart, IN. the daughter of Wiley and Lena (Lempke)Hawkins.
Betty is survived by her loving family, one son, James (Barbara) Lester, of Three Rivers and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Riverside Cemetery. People are welcome to gather at the Hohner Funeral Home prior to graveside services.
Memorials may be donated to the St. Joseph County Animal Rescue Fund (A.R.F.) or a charity of one’s choice.
