Constance Schermerhorn, 52, of Paw Paw, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010 at her home. She was born Aug. 20, 1957 in Constantine, the daughter of Verlin and Arlene (Kline) Reed. Connie was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed sewing and cross-stitch, and belonged to the Embroiderers Guild.
On Nov. 13, 1976 in Cassopolis, Connie was united in marriage to Steven Schermerhorn who preceded her in death April 8, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her father.
Connie is survived by four children, Gregory (Sarah) Schermerhorn of Birmingham, Ala., Garrett (Mary) Schermerhorn of Kalamazoo, Brandon Schermerhorn of Kalamazoo and Amanda (Adam) Tassell of Paw Paw; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Adams Funeral Home, Paw Paw, where services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m., Rev. Leon Troyer of Agape Family Church officiating. Burial will follow in Cuddeback Cemetery.
