Mark Lewis Weber, age 54 of Holland, MI died Saturday June 5, 2010 in Three Rivers following a long illness. He was born in Kalamazoo on Oct. 5, 1955 the son of Dennis and Shirley (Standish) Weber. Mark was married to Tonya Michael in Schoolcraft on July 29, 1979. They resided briefly in Ft. Wayne before moving to Holland 25 years ago, where he attended Peace Lutheran Church. Mark was an electrical engineer and was employed by Buhler Prince in Holland for over 22 years. In his spare time he enjoyed Dune Climbing and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a guitar player and was a former member of a band called Rock Candy.
Mark is survived by his wife, Tonya; 3 daughters, Lisa Vongphachanh (Lucky) of Holland, Samantha Strong (Phil) of Zeeland, and Sara Weber (Mario Vongphachant) of Holland; 8 grandchildren, Matthew, Mariah, Brooke, Anthony, Ashtyn, Joshua, Wyatt, and Mallory; his father, Dennis Weber of Kalamazoo; his mother, Shirley Kime (Carl) of Richland; 1 sister, Ann Elbing (Ron) of Pigeon, MI; 4 bothers, Mike Weber, Tim Weber, Tom Weber, and DJ Weber all of Kalamazoo; 1 aunt, Linda Crandall (Mike) of Portage; mother & father in law, Marvin & Carolyn Michael of Mendon and their children, Scott Michael of Mendon, Ruth Ann Neilson (James) of Kalamazoo, Deanne Harger (Mike) of Three Rivers, Dawn Terry (Don) of Comstock, Shawn Shapton (Matt) of West Palm Beach, FL, and Kevin Michael (Kendra) of Holland; many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been conducted. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 1 p.m. in Mendon Cemetery. An online register is available and condolences may be left at www.eickhofffuneralhome.com
