David L. Huss, age 69, of Sturgis, passed away Friday, July 9, 2010, at the home of his niece in Schoolcraft.
He was born June 7, 1941, in Sturgis, a son of the late Warren and Faye (Sunday) Huss.
David was a lifelong Sturgis resident and member of the Eagles Lodge #1314 and the Loyal Order of Moose #574.
For 40 years he had been employed as a forklift operator at Americraft Carton in Sturgis.
He is survived by one niece, Linda (Kim) Gerow of Schoolcraft; and several great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and a brother.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Hackman Family Funeral Homes Rosenberg Chapel, 807 E. Chicago Road, Sturgis. A private graveside service and burial will take place at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sturgis.
