Beverly Pauline Reed, 80, of Three Rivers, passed away early Friday, Aug. 13, 2010 at Bronson Methodist Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on Feb. 6, 1930 in Three Rivers, the daughter of Harold C. and Leita I. (Decker) Abel.
Mrs. Reed graduated from Three Rivers High School and married her late husband, Donald A. Reed, on Oct. 22, 1946. She was a former life member of the Three Rivers Eagles #2303. Bev truly loved her children, grandchildren and great-grands, as well as all of her pets. She also enjoyed boating with her husband on White Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald A. Reed, one son, Rex Reed, and a brother, Harold Abel Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family, three sons, Stephen (Rosie) Reed of Three Rivers, Terry (Shari) Reed of Centreville and Donald L. (Bonnie) Reed of South Boardman; one brother, John M. (Bonnie) Abel of Three Rivers; one daughter-in-law, Lori Reed, of Walker; 10 grandchildren, Andy, Holly, Stacy, Derek, Kurt, and Tony, Dan, Sam, Nate, and Bree; several great-grandchildren.
Per Beverly’s request, cremation has taken place.
Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be donated to the Riverside “Free” Clinic c/o Riverside Church. Envelopes available at the Hohner Funeral Home, in care of arrangements.
