Vincent Eugene Lash, 84, of Bronson, passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010 at Sturgis Hospital.
He was born Nov. 11, 1925 in Leonidas to Willie and Marie Lash. On Nov. 13, 1943 he married Marilyn June Waldron. He worked for Clark Equipment Company for 30 years in addition to taking care of a small farm. After retirement he and Marilyn were able to spend many winters in Florida, making friends and fishing.
Surviving are his wife Marilyn; children, Gary (Carolyn) Lash, Sharon (Ron) Summers, Dennis (Doris) Lash, Bruce (Kathleen) Lash; a sister, Mildred Niehaus; brothers, Larry and Jerry Lash; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Spencer Family Funeral Home in Athens. Funeral Services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18 at the Funeral Home with Hospice Minister Brian Lutz officiating. Interment in Leonidas Cemetery.
