Henrietta L. Climmons, 83, of Three Rivers, passed away early Monday, Sept. 6, 2010 at the Heartland Health Care Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born on Feb. 19, 1927 in Baxter, Ark., the daughter of William and Lucinda (Bell) Applegate.
Henrietta has been a long time resident of this area. She was a long standing member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness. She worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at the Three Rivers Health Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her husband, Mr. John Climmons of Three Rivers, whom she married on April 1, 1955 in Crown Point, Ind.; four nieces and nephews, Coy (Velma) Whitten of Three Rivers, Thomas (Katherine) Whitten of Three Rivers, Rebecca Applegate of Los Angeles, Calif. and Jackie Rice of Pontiac; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 at the Three Rivers Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 330 N. Douglas Ave., Three Rivers, with Mr. Richard Black as celebrant.
Memorials may be donated to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, envelopes available at the Hohner Funeral Home in care of Henrietta or the Kingdom Hall.
